Just Teach One—Amelia: or, the Faithless Briton

I'm thrilled that our class was invited to be part of the Just Teach One project.  Inaugurated by Duncan Faherty and Ed White, Just Teach One asks a group of faculty at different colleges and universities to teach a shared Early American text--and then to blog about the experience.  This semester's text, Amelia: or, the Faithless Briton, will open our course.  We will discuss it—along with Theresa Strouth Gaul's essay, "Recovering Recovery," during our first class meeting on September 10.  (UMB students can access Gaul's essay on Project Muse via the Healey Library website--either use your library barcode or login from campus.)

Here are links to two versions of Amelia.

This is a pdf of the original text, so you can see what it looked like when it was published.
